The Founders of Iris Los Angeles, Nathan and Sarah Kotzur are currently launching a pop up school in Australia with Winston and Megan Cooper from Cooper Acting Studio.
Get ready for a transformational time in the presence and in your craft, Bezalel Bootcamp is an acting intensive with the same Iris DNA that has long been part of the ILA FAM schools. This one week intensive will combine worship and spiritual equipping while training actors in their craft & preparing them for a calling to the entertainment industry!
Like Bezalel, we believe God is calling artists to be filled with the Creative Spirit of God for artistic works that will help disciple the world.
“See, I have called by name Bezalel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah. And I have filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship, to design artistic works, to work in gold, in silver, in bronze, “And I, indeed I, have appointed with him Aholiab the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan; and I have put wisdom in the hearts of all the gifted artisans, that they may make all that I have commanded you:”

Bezalel means “in the Shadow of God” and until your gifting dwells in and under the shelter of the Most High, it will never find its purpose and full potential.
This spiritual intensive will be led by Nathan and Sarah and the acting training will be taught by Winston and Megan who have over two decades of experience teaching actors and working professionally in the industry. The Coopers and the Kotzurs have a long history of ministering together and close relationship for over two decades. They are not only bringing their giftings to the table for this spiritual acting intensive but decades of relationship, as well as professional and ministry experience.
The Kotzurs have been running with Heidi and Rolland Baker and Iris Global since 2007 and carry the Iris DNA to usher in the presence and help you consecrate your life and giftings to the only one found worthy.
The Coopers carry a unique anointing for vulnerability that will take you to new heights spiritually and creatively.
Winston Cooper
Winston is an MFA graduate from QUT. With 25 years professional acting experience, he has performed in Major, Indie & Regional theatres, across Australia & NZ. He has also filmed Television & Feature Film roles, screened nationally & internationally, receiving best actor recognition at international festivals.
With almost 20 years teaching experience, Winston has taught and coached a range of actors from professional to beginners and children. Having tutored and directed at AFTT, JMC, Screenwise, Sydney Theatre School, Darlo Drama & Brent Street, Winston has developed a unique methodology that serves to empower actors to find a multi-faceted experience of their character world, enabling the actor to impulsively play with confidence in their roles.
Megan Cooper
Megan studied at QUT and has had numerous roles across TV and film, including a regular role on ABC’sHeadstart, with regular appearances on McLeod’s Daughters and White Collar Blue, mini-series and international feature film roles. Megan has received best actor recognition at international festivals.
With over 5 years teaching experience, Megan has coached professional film actors (Joe Pickett on Apple TV) and taught film craft at AFTT & JMC. Megan is accomplished in aiding actors find freedom in their craft, producing performances full of truth and courage. She is also encouragingly insightful in identifying obstacles to process, helping actors to find more liberty in their work.

Bezalel Bootcamp will be held at Oasis of Hope in the beautiful Coffs Harbour hinterland. Staying in a luxurious, colonial-style guest house, on a 250 acre property, featuring a swimming pool, stunning creek walks, manicured lawns, all surrounded by peace and tranquility! We are in for a treat!
- *Please note that Bezalel Bootcamp is a boutique intimate two-week acting intensive in Australia. It will not offer the full program of the ILA FAM schools in Los Angeles and there is no Film or Music track available at this intensive.
Our History
The Iris Los Angeles Film, Acting and Music School was founded to equip artists both spiritually and professionally.
We work with Christian Industry professionals to teach emerging artists excellence in their craft through our Film, Acting and Music tracks, equipping them both professionally and spiritually to be ready for a calling in the Entertainment Industry.
We believe God wants to put His spirit on Artists, to create content that will impact the generations.
We believe God doesn’t want to lose any more sons or daughters on the spiritual battlefield of the Entertainment Industry, hence why ILA FAM also has a strong focus on Biblical teaching, Worship and cultivating the Presence from leaders in the Body and Christians ahead in the Industry.
We believe creating a healthy culture of FAMily gives artists the ability to collaborate and establish the spiritual and relational support needed to fulfill their calling.

As well as training in one of the three tracks, our schools focus on corporate worship and seeking the presence of God. We have been blessed with an array of world-class guest speakers from biblical teachers that carry the Iris DNA to Christian industry professionals that help prepare artists spiritually and professionally for their journey in the Entertainment Industries.
